Nabors Consulting Group was birthed by our owner, who began as a recruiter several years ago. She worked as a full-cycle recruiter where she learned end-to-end recruiting for a major Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) company. Immediately, she worked to build relationships with hiring leaders and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth recruitment process. With limited resources, she relied heavily on grassroots efforts and community outreach methods to attract talent. These partnerships helped her build pipelines in various locations for several types of roles. 

 

Later, she was tasked with overseeing an immigration recruitment department while launching a nationwide Under-Represented Candidate search. She aimed to increase diversity in companies across the nation. Unbeknownst to her, this would ignite a passion within her that she was unaware of. Positioning candidates that have not had equal opportunities began to consume her. She worked endlessly to find organizations that represent various ethnic groups and refugees. She spent a great deal of time helping candidates revise resumes, prepare for interviews while also being consultative with hiring leaders. The goal was to level the playing field for these candidate groups, and she did that. 

 

Many of the candidates were new to this country and spoke very little English or had limited experience. Faniah positioned them at the intersection of opportunity and preparation.
